Join the Brackets team for our FIRST public hackathon. Contribute to the open source code editor built with the web for the web.

Brackets is an MIT-licensed open-source code editor for web design and development. It’s built on top of open web standards (JavaScript, HTML and CSS) so if you have the skills to use Brackets, you have the skills to contribute, extend and hack on Brackets. If hacking on the core editor isn’t your thing, Brackets has a growing extension API that makes it easy to integrate your favorite framework or web-based tool.

Adobe is hosting a full day hackathon with morning sessions to give you everything you need to know to start hacking on Brackets. Sessions will be followed by beer, food, and engineers on hand to help you dive into Brackets and start fixing bugs, adding features, or building your own extensions.

Bring your laptop. There will be internet, power and plenty of table space to comfortably work. No prior experience with Brackets is required.
